Data protection regulations

1. the security of user data is paramount
The website stradivari.ch respects the privacy of all users of the website (hereinafter referred to as “the customer” or “customers”). These data protection provisions form the basis for the processing of personal data and provide information on what type of user data is collected from customers by stradivari.ch, how stradivari.ch uses this data and what rights customers are entitled to. Stradivari.ch complies with the applicable data protection laws and processes the personal data solely for the purposes for which the data was transmitted.

These data protection provisions are adapted, supplemented or amended from time to time. With each new call or visit to the website, the current, retrievable version applies.

Should any contradictions arise between this data protection declaration and the otherwise applicable contractual or business terms and conditions of stradivari.ch, the provisions of this data protection declaration shall take precedence.

2. nature and purpose of the data collected
The term “personal data” or “personal data” within the meaning of this privacy policy includes information that can be used to personally identify customers.

The processing of personal data refers to any handling of personal data, such as the collection, use, storage, disclosure, transmission or deletion of data.

Stradivari.ch does not automatically collect any personal data when the customer interacts with the website. Personal data is collected automatically or manually, which a customer provides (e.g. by contacting us).

2.1 Data, when interacting with stradivari.ch, for contacting
stradivari.ch does not automatically collect personal data of customers, such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address.

On the other hand, personal data is collected from customers if a customer provides this voluntarily when contacting stradivari.ch (e.g. via contact form or e-mail). Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms.

3. legal basis for the collection and processing of personal data
The legal basis for the collection and processing of the customer’s personal data depends on the purpose of the data processing in each individual case. In particular, the following are possible: the protection of the legitimate interests of stradivari.ch, provided that the interests of the customer or fundamental rights or freedoms are not unreasonably impaired; or
consent of the customer at the time the personal data is collected. The customer may withdraw their consent at any time. For this purpose, the customer can send a corresponding message to the contact details described below. The legality of the data processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

4. use of cookies and use of data
4.1 Cookies
In order to continuously improve the website for customers, stradivari.ch may use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of software information that are stored by web browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) on the customer’s computer hard disk in order to facilitate the use of the website (e.g. language selection, etc.).

Some of the cookies used by stradivari.ch are deleted again at the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing the web browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on the end device and enable stradivari.ch to recognize the customer’s web browser on the next visit (so-called persistent cookies). The duration of storage can be found in the overview in the cookie settings of the web browser.

Most web browsers automatically accept such cookies, but web browsers can be configured so that they do not accept or store cookies. If cookies are deactivated, however, the functionality of the website may be restricted. Details on this can be found in the operating instructions or the help function of the web browser.

4.2 Use of the data
The anonymized data, which is recorded by means of cookies when the stradivari.ch website is accessed, can be used for web analysis purposes, to optimize the website and to measure performance. Stradivari.ch may use third-party providers for this purpose, some of which have their own data protection regulations over which stradivari.ch has no control.

Stradivari.ch uses functions of the following web analysis services:

Google Maps

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Stradivari.ch uses Google Maps to visually display geographical information. When Google Maps is used, Google transmits or processes data about the use of the Maps functions by website visitors, which may include in particular the IP address and location data. The stradivari.ch has no influence on this data processing.

Insofar as information is transferred to Google servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the “Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield”.

To deactivate the Google Maps service and thus prevent the transmission of data to Google, a customer must deactivate the Java Script function in the web browser. In this case, Google Maps cannot be used or can only be used to a limited extent.

Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy at

https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps/.

5. disclosure of your data
Stradivari.ch will not disclose the personal data of customers to third parties. This does not apply if the customer has consented to the transfer of data to companies that are not affiliated with stradivari.ch or if stradivari.ch is obliged to do so by law, official order or court order. Furthermore, if service providers who support stradivari.ch in data processing, the administration of the website or in any other way and in the provision of the products and services requested by the customer are involved (e.g. parcel service providers). These third parties are obliged to maintain the same level of security and data protection as stradivari.ch.

6. data security
Unfortunately, the transmission of data via the Internet is not absolutely secure. Stradivari.ch works with service providers and Internet providers who take appropriate technical and organizational security precautions to protect the personal data of customers. However, Stradivari.ch cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted by the customer. Any data transmission is therefore at the customer’s own risk.

7. your information and revocation rights
Of course, every customer is free to inform stradivari.ch at any time – for example in an e-mail – that the personal data should not be used to contact you in the future.

In addition, it is possible to obtain information on the processing of the data or to request a copy of the personal data collected via the stradivari.ch website.
